Six ways to deliver your building

The right contract shapes cost, schedule and who carries risk. We've delivered under every model below, so we can tell you honestly which one fits.

We work for you, alongside your architect and contractor.

As Construction Manager as Advisor we act as an extension of your staff. We hold no trade contracts, so our only interest is yours. A heavy preconstruction effort (constructability and budget reviews, value analysis, bid-document checks) puts structure in place before the first shovel.

In-house we bring trade estimators, licensed architects, professional engineers, a safety director, general counsel and LEED-accredited staff. Schedules run in P6 and live in the cloud for every stakeholder.

Fifty-five years, three generations, one family name on the door

Bob Epifano started Epic in Piscataway in 1971 with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach. His sons grew up on job sites and in the estimating room, and a grandson now runs projects. Many of the people who manage your project have been here thirty years or more.

What EPIC stands for

Our name is our standard. Here's the evidence behind each letter.

Excellence

Fifty-five years of work recognized from General Contractor of the Year (ASA of New Jersey, 2007) to the NJ Governor's OSHA Safety Award.

Precision

A contractor's "second set of eyes" on every design, trade-specific estimates, and P6 schedules shared online with every stakeholder.

Integrity

As CM Advisor we hold no trade contracts. As CM at Risk our books are open. Either way, the owner's interests come first.

Commitment

Zero lost workdays from 2013 through 2025, LEED Platinum, Gold and Silver public projects, and local hiring and apprenticeship programs.

Every crew starts with daily planning and ends the week with a safety meeting. All field supervisors carry OSHA 30, and everyone on the payroll, management included, is in our random testing program. The reminder we use most is simple: someone is waiting for you at home.
